The Koster Floor Lamp 60 by Globen Lighting is an outdoor floor lamp in black metal, designed by Malin Lundmark. Its silhouette is pure graphic geometry: a solid matt black drum top sitting on a flared cage of slender vertical rods that widen towards a circular base ring, like an upturned lantern drawn in line.

Light falls downwards through the metal bars and paints striped shadow patterns across decking, stone or gravel — a quiet, atmospheric glow rather than a spotlight. With its IP44 rating it stays out all season on terraces, patios and in gardens, and the 500 cm cable remains flexible down to -40 °C. Because the cage is engineered to carry up to 85 kg, Koster is also a working pedestal or stool: use it beside a lounge chair for a glass and a book, or as an illuminated side table on a balcony. Indoors, its Scandinavian black-line minimalism suits a hallway corner, a conservatory or a bedroom as a low mood light.
