Table Lamp Iris 35 – Green

The Iris 35 is a green glass table lamp from Globen Lighting, designed by Erika Norén as a contemporary reading of the classic table lamp. Its base is a plump sphere of coloured glass in a deep sage green, scattered with irregular blown air bubbles, topped by a slim polished brass stem and a wide, conical shade in pale light green.

The glass catches light like a sweet in a jar: glossy, saturated, with tiny bubbles freckling the surface so no two lamps are identical. The cotton shade has a covered top, so the glow is pushed downward into a soft, warm pool over whatever sits below. Slightly larger than a standard table lamp, this bubble glass table lamp suits a side table beside a sofa, a deep window sill, or a wide chest of drawers in a bedroom or hallway. The tonal green-on-green palette and brass detail sit easily in mid-century, contemporary and softly eclectic interiors.
