IRMA Vase Blue-Green

The IRMA vase by Klatt Objects is a matte porcelain vase with the quiet presence of a hand-thrown bottle: a broad, softly domed shoulder that tapers down to a narrow base, finished with a short, slender neck and a small round opening. The blue-green glaze reads deep and almost shadowed in low light, absorbing rather than reflecting it, so the eye follows the curve instead of the shine.

Made from high-quality porcelain with a velvety matte finish, each piece is handmade in Germany, which means no two are exactly alike in tone or line. The organic silhouette works beautifully as a standalone object, or holding a single stem — a ranunculus, a branch of eucalyptus, a dried grass.
